Malus Pumila is excited to turn over a new leaf and make new friends at her first year at the legendary arcane academy Strixhaven, but the school is not all that it seems and hides sinister secrets. After witnessing the resurrection of a woman murdered on central campus three years prior, Malus is determined to learn all that she can in hopes of doing the same for her young daughter, whose death Malus feels she is responsible for.
